The Message is the Medium: Contemporary Art is now open featuring contemporary pieces from the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s permanent collection.

The Clowes Pavilion Reimagined

The Indianapolis Museum of Art welcomes visitors to the Clowes Pavilion, newly reimagined after a multi-year renovation, 50 years after its inaugural opening date.

Embodied: Human Figures in Art 

This exhibition features works from four continents that span nearly 4,000 years, and through themes including power, beauty, identity, gender, and remembrance, examines how representations of people in art allow us to explore what it means to be human.

The Walk is a one mile hike through Woodstock, Indiana, an old suburban town located on what was once considered the outskirts of Indianapolis.

Garden Monsters

The Garden at Newfields is home to a fleet of fang-tastic monsters. Crunch through fallen leaves and take in cornucopias of colorful gourds and pumpkins but keep a close eye out for monstrous ghosts, ghouls, and goblins that are hiding in plain sight. Garden Monsters will be on view during museum hours from September 30 through October 31. They are included with general admission and free for members. The masterfully created monsters were created by local artists, organizations, and community groups.
