First Thursday presented by Gainbridge

Experience all that Newfields has to offer on the first Thursday of every month. Enjoy the Indianapolis Museum of Art and The Garden, live musical performances, open studio hours, and gallery conversations. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime Member, First Thursdays presented by Gainbridge are the perfect opportunity to discover something new and have an exceptional experience with art and nature.

Celebrate the beauty of flowers and community through a day inspired by Rebecca Louise Law’s immersive floral installation, where thousands of preserved flowers come together to create something greater than the individual pieces. Explore the new Waller Community Gallery exhibition, Arte Club, featuring artists who are members of the Indiana Mexican Latino Artists Network/Arte Mexicano en Indiana, Inc. Explore the connections between art, nature, and community through an Artful Conversation, Garden programming, and hands-on making in the studios.
