About the Artist

In 2022 Tasha Beckwith was the inaugural artist in residence at B-SIDE Creative Campus, a non profit centered on the principle of creative care and supporting creatives and the creative economy.

In February 2021, Tasha unveiled a 75ft long mural at the Indianapolis International Airport celebrating Madam CJ Walker titled Entrepreneurs Awakening: The Making of a Legacy. She's also created the mural Keep Moving Forward at 30th and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. streets and a neighborhood history mural at the Martindale-Brightwood Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library.
