The House of Sprouse at Newfields

In 2018, the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields became the proud recipient of Stephen Sprouse’s fashion collection and archives. Sprouse (1953–2004), born in Ohio and raised in Columbus, Indiana, was one of the most innovative and influential designers of his time, using his frequent visits to Newfields as inspiration.

Anna White

Anna Seim White moved to Indianapolis with her husband, Jim, in 1966, she reached out to the Marian University music department looking for a teaching position. At the University of North Dakota, Anna had taught music and voice, talents she developed as a child growing up on a farm in Willow Lake, South Dakota.

Art & Nature Park Updates
