THE LUME Indianapolis Featurette Launch Parties

The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields is pleased to debut three Indiana-based digital artist groups and their original digital artworks as “featurettes” in THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Monet & Friends Alive in 2023. For the first time, Newfields, in partnership with The Arts Council of Indianapolis, hosted an artist search in August 2022 casting a net for digital artists to submit their work to be showcased in THE LUME Indianapolis.

The commissioned artists have created a three-minute, immersive, visual and audio digital media experience that will accompany THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Monet & Friends Alive.

Celebrate the local digital artist’s artwork with three separate evening Featurette Launch Parties in THE LUME. Take a deep dive into each digital artist’s work and explore THE LUME after hours with family and friends. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and Café Lumiére will be open. Pricing for the Featurettes Launch Parties will be $22 for Newfields members and $29 for public.
