YOUR TICKET INCLUDES

  • Eclipse glasses (1 pair per ticket). You’ll get these at ticket scanning when you arrive. 
  • Access to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Dalí Alive, The Garden, and The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. 
  • Access to the following music locations: 
    • The Sutphin Mall Stage
    • Recreation (Rec) Lawn Stage 
    • The Amphitheater Stage 
      • All Penumbra Pass ticket holders have access to The Amphitheater.
      • To access The Amphitheater, walk through Floor 1 of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Staff and signs will help guide you.
      • If you purchased PENUMBRA PASS FRONT ROW SEATS, you have access to the first two tiers in The Amphitheater. They will be marked, and seated first come, first served.

  • Newfields opens | 11 AM 
  • Total Eclipse of The Art | 3:05–3:10 PM | All music, food and beverage service, and entertainment will pause for The Great American Eclipse 2024 
  • IMA Galleries and THE LUME Indianapolis close | 5 PM   
  • Celebration concludes | 6 PM

Food & Beverage

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout Newfields during the event. Bars will be situated throughout campus and will feature an array of perfectly paired beverages from Sun King Brewing Co., Stella Artois, Libby Wines, High Noon Hard Seltzer, Mount Gay Rum, and The Botanist Islay Dry Gin. Non-alcoholic and spirit-free options will be readily available as well.   

  • The Beer Garden at Garden Terrace

    • Chef Patrick Russ and the Culinary Team will be serving up a curated Eclipse-themed food menu and beer garden favorites like the giant pretzel and cheese. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options will be available.​​​​​​​
  • Food Trucks

    • The following food trucks will have food available for purchase on the Sutphin Mall and near the Recreation (Rec) Lawn. Many food trucks will have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. 
      • Earl B’s Catering CoSmoked BBQ offerings featuring brisket, pork and chicken along with a selection of sides 
      • Pierogi LoveSelection of traditional and specialty pierogis served up in several ways
      • The Garnacha SpotMexican street food offerings including tacos and quesadillas with a selection of sides
      • Palavano CubanoCubano sandwiches both classical and non-traditional with a selection of sides 
      • Serendipity CateringAmerican classic cuisine featuring specialty burgers and fries 
      • ParchedFresh fruit smoothies and a selection of sweet and nutritious acai bowls

  • Amphitheater Concessions

Parking Pass Holders

  • On-site parking is SOLD OUT.  
    • If you don’t have a parking pass, see GETTING TO NEWFIELDS section.
  • If you do have a pre-purchased parking pass:
    • You have a guaranteed spot on-site at Newfields.
    • Enter the parking lot through the Michigan Road entrance.
    • Have your parking ticket ready on your phone. Turn the brightness all the way up.

GETTING TO NEWFIELDS (if you didn’t purchase a parking pass): 

  • If you don’t have a parking pass, please make plans to park within walking or biking distance and access Newfields via the Central Canal Towpath (Waller Bridge), 42nd Street gate, Michigan Road entrance, or 38th Street entrance. 
  • Bike racks will be available at Newfields.  
  • Guests with mobility needs can be dropped off at the main entrance inside of the 38th Street entrance.  

Ticket Scanning

  • Tickets will be scanned at three locations:
    • Efroymson Family Entrance Pavilion 
    • 42nd Street gate 
    • Waller Bridge (via the Central Canal Towpath) 

PRE-PURCHASED ITEM PICKUP 

If you purchased a photo kit or a picnic blanket with your ticket, you can pick them up at either of the two Pre-Purchased Item Pickup locations. One is in the Museum and another is in The Garden. See the map for the exact locations. 

What to Bring

Bring your water bottles, chairs, blankets, umbrellas, and sunscreen, as well as diaper bags, strollers, and mobility aids. Newfields has wheelchairs available on a first come, first served basis. Newfields is a cashless campus; credit or debit cards are the only form of payment accepted.  

WHAT NOT TO BRING

Outside food and alcoholic beverages, grills, pets, knives, guns, or weapons. Tripods and telescopes are not permitted. You will be asked to return prohibited items to your car or dispose of them.

Rain or Shine

Total Eclipse of the Art is a rain or shine event. Please be prepared for Indiana spring weather. In the event of inclement weather during the day-long event, guests will be sheltered safely inside.  

No Refunds

All ticket sales are final to this event. Refunds and exchanges will not be offered.
