Crazy Rich Asians
Native New Yorker and NYU professor, Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) travels with her boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his hometown in Singapore for his best friend’s wedding. Excited about visiting Asia for the first time but nervous about meeting Nick’s family, Rachel is surprised to learn that Nick has left out a few key details about his past. Before long, his secret is out: Nick’s family is wealthy, and he’s one of the most sought-after bachelors. Jealous socialites and Nick’s own mother (Michelle Yeoh) aim to bring Rachel down proving that money can’t buy love, but it can definitely complicate things.
