Indy-based and internationally acclaimed vinyl record artist, Walter Lobyn Hamilton will discuss his solo exhibition titled Walter Lobyn Hamilton What I Have You Have, which is currently on view in the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields. Hamilton’s works are created from vinyl records, album spines, and album covers. His work is a visual representation of music’s nostalgic power, and explores themes of family, perception, and experience. 

A multi-hyphenate music powerhouse and creative visionary, Steve Hackman is a daring voice intent on redefining art music in the 21st century.  Hackman is at once a composer, conductor, producer, DJ, arranger, songwriter, singer, and pianist, and presents his visionary orchestral fusions around the world. For nearly a decade, Hackman has collaborated with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and is the creative director and conductor of their Uncharted series.
