NOTICE: Change in Public Library Hours

Beginning on November 14, 2017, the IMA galleries will close at 4:00 PM to accommodate Winterlights, a new Holiday experience at Newfields.

Due to this change, the Stout Reference Library’s public hours on Thursdays will also be reduced to 1:00–4:00 PM.

If you have any questions or concerns, please talk with the library staff to determine a solution.

The library’s regular public hours on Thursdays (1:00–7:00 PM) will resume on January 11, 2018.

Open to the public every Thursday from 1 - 7 pm (September - May) or by appointment.

Learn about gardening and related topics at the Horticultural Society Library. The library houses more than 2,000 volumes, including general reference books, magazines, and books on landscaping, specific plant families and horticulture. The video collection includes popular PBS programs as well as programs from the Horticultural Society lecture series.

Located in the Stout Reference Library, the Horticultural Society Library is a non-circulating collection open to the public. Horticultural Society Members may check out items. The library is equipped with wireless internet for any visitors or staff interested in using it.
