Wild Style
7 pm
Capturing the earliest days of hip-hop in New York, Wild Style follows the story of tagger Zoro (Lee Quiñones) who is commissioned to paint the stage for a rapper’s convention. The film features graffiti and hip-hop pioneers including Lady Pink & Zephyr: artists featured in our City as Canvas exhibition.
Then, join us on Sunday, October 29 at the Beer Garden for Reads and Reels: Book and Film Discussion Club, when we discuss Wild Style and Graffiti Lives: Beyond the Tag in New York’s Urban Underground.
