With a bed-ridden mother and cruel stepfather, young Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) is forced to entertain herself. Stumbling into a mysterious labyrinth, she discovers she may be the long-lost princess of this underworld kingdom, but must prove her worth by surviving three gruesome tasks.
