Meet Greenhouse Assistant Manager and Orchid Horticulturist Ian Wilhite at the Beer Garden at Garden Terrace to grab something to sip on, then head back to the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse for a tour of Ian’s world-class collection of orchids. Grow for it! This is a casual class and conversation is encouraged. You’ll be able to ask your most pressing questions about orchids and all their quirks while you get an insider’s tour of the greenhouse. All skill and interest levels are welcome.
Heads up! The Beer Garden at Garden Terrace is about a 10-minute walk from the main entrance. Please leave a little extra time to get here.
