If These Flowers Could Talk: Spring Lecture and Luncheon

Robert Scanlan takes you behind the scenes and inside the White House Flower Shop where he practiced his art for 13 years during the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations. In his talk, he will explain how flowers are creatively used to complement the historic home and enhance the experience for White House entertaining including State Dinners, private parties, presidential birthdays, and Jenna Bush’s wedding at the family’s Texas ranch. A luncheon and Alliance annual meeting will follow the lecture.
