IBE Film Festival

Newfields is proud to partner with the Indiana Black Expo Film Festival to support emerging and independent filmmakers –providing a platform for original works to be screened for all avid film lovers. The films screened offer lessons about black culture through the filmmakers’ lenses. This year’s film festival features screenings of Black Wall Street – The Greenwood Ave. Project and Till (2022) followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dominic Dorsey.

• 1 PM – Opening remarks & performance 
• 1:30 PM – Black Wall Street – The Greenwood Ave. Project Screening 
• 3:20 PM – Till Screening (2022, dir. Chinonye Chukwu, 130 mins., PG-13)
• 5:30 PM - Panel Discussion 
• 6 PM – Meet & greet reception
