Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Doors open at 7 p.m.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch thoughtfully tells the story of Hedwig (John Cameron Mitchell), a genderqueer rock star attempting to reclaim their music from their former lover/bandmate, Tommy Gnosis (Michael Pitt), turned famous rock star. Swinging between the Hedwig’s intimate memories and surreal present-day, Hedwig breathes new life into the musical genre and explores themes of longing, loss, and self-love/acceptance.

Directed by John Cameron Mitchell, 2001, 90 minutes, R.
