Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing
10 AM–noon

Reconnect through the restorative practice of forest bathing in The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park with Simply Nature Forest Bathing.

This two-hour guided experience begins with a grounding meditation to transition from mind to heart. Following the grounded meditation, guests will be invited to explore their environment in three 10-minute intervals. Between each interval, guests will reconvene to share insights and reflections with fellow participants, to foster community and connection. As you wander amidst the lush greenery and captivating sculptures, you'll have the chance to interact with Heather Hart's Oracle of Intimation on The Hawryluk Sculpture Green, which will add a unique dimension to your experience.

Newfields will provide bug spray, sunscreen, and facilities for your comfort. Simply bring comfortable, weather-appropriate attire, sturdy walking shoes, and water to enhance your journey.
