Museum Hours

DRIP: Indy's #BlackLivesMatter Street Mural is an artistic expression of the Black Lives Matter movement created by 18 Indy-based Black artists. Using art, the street mural on Indiana Avenue provided a place to amplify the messages of the BLM movement. Located within the Damon C. and Kay D. Davis Lab on Floor 2 of the Museum, DRIP uses sound, imagery, and storytelling to allow visitors a glimpse into the making of, and intention behind, the mural itself.  The work of the 18 artists celebrates Black art, Black space, and togetherness while providing context as to the role that art plays in social justice movements.
