After a nationwide search that garnered applications from nearly 80 up-and-coming artists, we invite you to witness a world premiere from our first-ever Jaffee & Hall Emerging Choreographer Award Winner, Tsai Hsi Hung.

Created to celebrate the legacy and vision of former Dance Kaleidoscope Artistic Directors Cherri Jaffee and Ginger Hall, this award aims to bring unique, emerging voices to the forefront of contemporary dance.  

The evening will also feature a revival of Stuart Lewis’ Sweet Sorrow, a one-act modern-day retelling of the timeless Romeo and Juliet, and a revival from Christel DeHaan Artistic Director, Joshua Blake Carter. For more information and tickets, visit https://www.dancekal.org/performance-emerge/.
