Damsel in Distress by P.G. Wodehouse
The Botanical Book Club presents a side-busting comedy of errors set at a historic home in the 1920’s, Damsel in Distress by P.G. Wodehouse. There is no better place to enjoy light refreshments and lively conversation about the novel than Newfields. Bookworms are invited to enjoy Harvest Nights presented by Everwise Credit Union following the discussion.
Please do note there are two different versions of this novel, ISBN-10:014001599X with a woman walking a dog on the cover, and ISBN-13: 978-1585674305 which has a woman leaning against a car on the cover. Both versions are delightful and there is a fun story on why he wrote two different versions, but we will be reading the first mentioned above.
