Behind the Blooms

Be the first to see art and nature collide in Art in Bloom at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields. Fifty fabulous floral arrangements designed by local, regional, and national florists will transform the IMA Galleries in the early days of spring with breathtaking displays inspired by works of art in the collection. Seven monumental showstoppers and forty-three pedestals promise to captivate guests of all ages. 

This sensational evening sets the stage for the Newfields largest Art in Bloom yet. Mingle with florists, pick from two signature Art in Bloom cocktails, and enjoy curated bites by Executive Chef Patrick Russ. Indulge in complimentary fine wine samples courtesy of Republic National Distributing Company.  

New this year, awards will be given to the best of the best across three categories: Excellence in Art, Excellence in Nature, and Crowd Favorite. Behind the Blooms guests will vote and select the Crowd Favorite pedestal. Join us for an unforgettable celebration that blends art, nature, and culinary delights in a kaleidoscope of creativity.  

Following Art in Bloom, arrangements will be deconstructed and rearranged to be donated to Random Acts of Flowers.
