Gardeners! It’s time to take those gardening tools out of hibernation and start planning ahead with help from three leading plant professionals in this half-day horticulture forum at Newfields.
Marc Hachadourian, Curator of Glasshouse Collections at the New York Botanical Garden and author of Orchid Modern, will present on all things orchids. Jack Williams, Professor of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will share his expertise on the warming of the last ice age to demonstrate how plants respond to changing climates. Finally, Newfields’ own Marian Keith, Horticulturist, will share her exciting upcoming plans for plantings in the soon-to-be Cut Flower and Vegetable Garden at Newfields.
