Jeff Epping, Director of Horticulture at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, WI will open your mind as he shares the benefits and beauty of often-underrated rock gardening. Dan Benarcik, Horticulturist at Chanticleer Garden in Wayne, PA and accomplished speaker and writer will provide insight and education into designing an artful garden. Retired professional Horticulturist Ed Lyon, who most recently served as the Director of Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University in Ames, IA will share his 25 years of experience gardening with native plants.

Jeff Epping of Epping Design & Consulting just recently retired from Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin, after serving as Director of Horticulture for almost 30 years. His garden designs put plants at the forefront to create gardens that are not only beautiful, but also ecologically sound. His designs celebrate the region while supporting nature, enhance the senses, and satisfy one’s innate desire to connect with the natural world as he shares the benefits and beauty of gravel gardens.
Edward Lyon - Spellbound Garden Writing & Consulting
Ed Lyon is a retired professional horticulturist and gardener with 25 years experience in the public garden field. He most recently served as Director of Reiman Gardens, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He was formally Director, Allen Centennial Gardens, Madison, Wisconsin. His public garden career includes serving as Symposia & Special Programs Coordinator for Chicago Botanic Garden, Director of Education for Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Executive Director for the Rotary Botanical Gardens.
Dan Benarcik - Horticulturist, Chanticleer Garden
