Artist in Residence: Mitsu Salmon

Mitsu Salmon will be joining us as Newfields’ performance artist in residence. Mitsu’s practice, which fuses multiple disciplines, addresses themes of multiculturalism, translation, and migration. Guests will have an opportunity to gain unique insight into the artist’s process through a series of open rehearsals and movement workshops as well as a culminating performance taking place as part of the opening celebration of A Brush with Beauty: Japanese Paintings in Ink, Color, and Gold.
