Green Transportation

  • Alternative transit - Newfields encourages visitors to travel to its campus through alternative forms of transportation. Bike racks can be found on the main campus in the parking garage, outside the Efroymson Family Entrance Pavilion, near the Waller Bridge, and on the grounds of the Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. Additionally, there are bus stops at both the 38th Street and Michigan Rd. entrances.
  • Electric Tram - Newfields offers an electric tram used for garden tours around the main campus.
  • Bike Share - Newfields is working on a partnership with Pacers Bike Share to create a hub along the towpath adjacent to the Citizens Energy Canal in front of the Fairbanks Art and Nature Park.
