Step into spring in style at Fête of Florals. Meet select floral designers, create wearable florals, and enjoy tastings from locally acclaimed culinary talent paired with bespoke cocktails, including the signature Bloom-Tea-Ni.

Begin in the Art in Bloom Market to create your own floral accessory to wear for the evening. Then, join us for the awards ceremony at 6:30 PM to recognize standout designs for Excellence in Art, Excellence in Nature, and Crowd Favorite. Following the awards, head up to the IMA Galleries where you’ll enjoy a live DJ and a curated culinary experience featuring eight stations of bites and cocktails.

Guests can expect thoughtfully curated, floral-garnished and inspired bites from our chefs, alongside paired cocktails crafted by our mixology team. Beer, wine, mocktails and additional drink offerings will also be available.

Flower Power Hour is a brand-new experience at Art in Bloom. Work side by side with Newfields experts and floral designers from Art in Bloom to craft your own floral masterpiece.

With a wide variety of class options, you’ll get to meet designers, learn professional techniques, and take home a piece of Art in Bloom.  

Tickets include Art in Bloom admission, all materials, and instruction. Flower Power Hours are for ages 12 and up. Some sessions have additional age restrictions. You can leave your finished arrangements in the Art in Bloom Market while you explore and pick them up before 7:30 PM.

Join us for Art You Can Arrange—a floral workshop by Newfields and Flower Boys. Start with a quick visit to the IMA Galleries guided by a Newfields expert who will share insight into an art work’s history and themes. Then, you’ll roll up your sleeves to make your very own centerpiece. 

Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. All materials and expert instructions are included for a seamless, art-filled experience. Your ticket includes the class and one-time entry into Art in Bloom on the day of our class or any other day of Art in Bloom.

Let your creativity bloom. Make your own crown with flowers, greenery, and expertise all provided by Flower Boys. If you'd like to purchase a large flower crown for $25, you can add it to your cart during checkout. Small flower crowns will be available for $18 on-site.

The Art in Bloom Market is bursting with interactive floral fun. In partnership with Flower Boys, you can craft your own flower crown, create a custom bouquet at the build-your-own bouquet bar, snap a selfie in the photo booth and swing by the bar for this year’s signature cocktail, the Bloom-Tea-Ni.

Shop till you drop in the Pop Up Orchid Shop, which will have a beautiful selection of live orchids, vessels, and more curated by the team from the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse.

During Art in Bloom, experience Inflorescence, a breathtaking digital fusion of art and nature on the newly renovated digital ceiling in the Clowes Pavilion. Created by Lightborne, this unique display pairs florals with digital brilliance to tell the story of Newfields’ mission of connecting visitors to exceptional experiences in art and nature. Join us in the Stout Reference Library for a special edition Botanic Book Club at Art in Bloom to discuss The Stolen Queen by Fiona Davis. Led by Senior Horticulturist Ian Wilhite and Associate Curator of Works on Paper Anna Stein, this conversation unfolds amid Books in Bloom featuring four exquisite paper floral installations inspired by volumes from the library collection.
