The Clowes Pavilion Reimagined

The Indianapolis Museum of Art welcomes visitors to the Clowes Pavilion, newly reimagined after a multi-year renovation, 50 years after its inaugural opening date.

This exhibition features works from four continents that span nearly 4,000 years, and through themes including power, beauty, identity, gender, and remembrance, examines how representations of people in art allow us to explore what it means to be human.

Garden Monsters

The Garden at Newfields is home to a fleet of fang-tastic monsters. Crunch through fallen leaves and take in cornucopias of colorful gourds and pumpkins but keep a close eye out for monstrous ghosts, ghouls, and goblins that are hiding in plain sight. Garden Monsters will be on view during museum hours from September 30 through October 31. They are included with general admission and free for members. The masterfully created monsters were created by local artists, organizations, and community groups.

Chromatic Elegance: The Works of Tasha Beckwith

Chromatic Elegance: The Works of Tasha Beckwith is a celebration of African American men and women in all their glory. This exhibition presents a tapestry of talent, color, and creativity, paying homage to the strength, beauty, and diversity within the African American community.

Film & Drag Performance: Rocky Horror Picture Show

Take a strange journey...begin your evening at  The Toby at Newfields for a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show with rambunctious performances by Indianapolis’ favorite drag entertainers. Keep your props at home, your ticket includes an assembled Rocky Horror Picture Show kit waiting for you at your seat. Costumes are absolutely encouraged, but masks are not permitted.
