In an effort to make Newfields more accessible for all college students, we are making a few updates to our student membership program. Our hope is to create ease of access, increase engagement, and continue to provide exceptional experiences in art and nature to our student population.

Beginning August 17, 2026, the Complimentary Student Membership Program will no longer require a membership application for Indiana college students. If you are enrolled in a higher-ed course or degreed program in the state of Indiana, all you will need is a valid student ID or other form of enrollment verification. Present your student ID or other documentation to a Guest Experience team member at the Info Desk to receive complimentary admission to Newfields on the day of your visit.

All Colleges & Universities

In addition to streamlining General Admission access to Indiana college students, we will also introduce a new Student Membership Program, which will be available to purchase for any college student, regardless of where you are enrolled in the country.

The new Student Membership Program will be priced at a discounted rate of $35, and include all the benefits of a Newfields 1 membership, along with additional events and programs designed and tailored to better fit the interests of our college guests.

If you are already enrolled in a complimentary Student Membership, your membership access will not expire until its current expiration date. You can find when your membership expires below. You may continue to use your membership benefits until that date.
