Youth Discount Weekend in THE LUME

From Saturday, January 17 through Monday, January 19, guests will have the option to get two free youth (6-17) tickets to THE LUME Indianapolis with the purchase of one Adult or Senior ticket. Kids 5 and under are always free.

Come in from the cold of winter and be transported to the other side of the world in Connection: Land, Water, and Sky—a breathtaking contemporary art experience that’s as moving as it is meaningful. Kids and adults alike will enjoy captivating art and music by Indigenous artists, a digital art making experience, and light snacks and specialty drinks available for purchase in Café Ngura.

Give your children the gift of experiencing extraordinary global art and music created by Indigenous Australian artists. Together you will discover a vibrant celebration of land, water, and sky, and create lasting memories across generations.

Each Adult or Senior LUME ticket purchased can receive two free LUME youth tickets (ages 6–17).

Gallery to Galaxy

Begin at Newfields to experience THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Connection featuring the work of over 100 contemporary Indigenous Australian artists. While you explore, enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage from Café Ngura.

Then, join us at Butler University’s Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium at 5 PM for an exclusive planetarium show hosted by Dr. Aarran Shaw, Assistant Professor of Physics, and Tim Shackelford, Associate Director of the Holcomb Observatory.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an inspiring day of artistic expression, cultural connection, and community. Family and friends are invited to come together and reflect on Dr. King’s vision of justice, peace, and equality through the power of the arts.
