Members-Only Workshop: Alma Thomas Tote Bag Painting

Unleash your creativity in a tote bag painting workshop inspired by the vibrant, abstract paintings of Alma Thomas. We’ll start in Composing Color: Paintings by Alma Thomas from the Smithsonian Art Museum to spark your artistic imagination. Then, we’ll head back to the Studios where you'll design and paint your own tote bag using paint, stamps, and stencils.  

As you create, enjoy a selection of colorful snacks and floral-noted beverages—a delicious nod to the palette and themes of Thomas's work.
