April 28: Birds
Birds migrate twice each year. Learn how The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park offers migratory bird species an ideal habitat.
May 12: Insects
From pollinators to decomposers, insects keep our ecosystems healthy and thriving. They keep our soil healthy, our water clean, our plants reproducing, and provide a vital source of food for other animals.
May 26: Trees
We see trees every day. We touch the bark, watch the leaves blow in the wind, and see birds and squirrels building nests in their branches. But what is happening underground? A tree’s root system is an underground a whole new world just waiting for us to explore.
