Happy World: On A Cloud

Beginning June 11, guests to Newfields will be welcomed by Little Cloud, a smiling inflatable sculpture with a message of hope and admiration for nature’s wonders floating in Efroymson Family Entrance Pavilion. Since 2002, Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, collectively known as FriendsWithYou, have been creating mesmerizing installations with the mission of spreading a positive message of Magic, Luck, and Friendship. Happy World: On a Cloud also features an intermittent interactive element, if you are lucky, you may encounter a creature or two who call Happy World their home. Whimsical, bright, and colorful, FriendsWithYou’s inflatables create communal experiences through accessible art, and encourage people to connect with others through play, laughter, and curiosity.
