TIME recently released their inaugural Time100 Art List. A list of the 100 most influential people shaping the future of art, according to the magazine.
And gracing the cover of this special issue is Amy Sherald. Not only is Sherald the first living painter to appear solo on the magazine’s cover in 50 years, she is also an artist on display, in a big way, in Newfields’ current exhibition Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys presented by JPMorganChase. In fact, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are included in the 2026 list too, and you can read how they “Turned Collecting Art Into A Mission.”
Check out a “who’s who” of other influential artists on the list, now on view at Newfields.
