Turner collection alongside rare books and archival materials. Kurt F. Pantzer (1892–1979) was an Indianapolis attorney and avid collector devoted to all things related to J.M.W. Turner. A true collector, he was obsessive in his pursuit of Turnerabilia—anything and everything to do with Turner, his contemporaries, his imitators, and more. Today, the Newfields Archives serve as the repository for Pantzer’s extensive research materials, documenting his lifelong quest.
