Experience Indigenous Masterworks from the IMA Collection
For the first time in 35 years, rare treasures from our own encyclopedic collection will be on view. Don’t miss this powerful glimpse into Indigenous Australian bark painting traditions—works created with natural pigments on eucalyptus bark, each a sacred map of memory, land, and ancestral story. These aren’t just historical—they are living voices speaking across generations.
Created With Heart, Guided by Culture
Dive into a one-of-a-kind interactive mural experience designed in collaboration with Kate Constantine (Konstantina)—a celebrated Indigenous artist and Newfields’ Artist Ambassador for Connection. With custom technology created by Newfields’ own team, you can bring your illustrated Australian animals to life in a vivid digital landscape.
Bonus: On Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 enjoy a special art making activity inspired by the art and storytelling of Connection.
Gather at Café Ngura
Ngura means home—and you’ll feel it the moment you step into our newly imagined LUME café. Savor earthy bush spices, artisan pastries, and specialty coffees and teas inspired by Indigenous Australian flavors.
Support Living Artists, Take Home Something Meaningful
THE LUME shop features a beautifully curated collection of pieces that honor tradition while celebrating contemporary Indigenous design. Every item tells a story—and every purchase directly supports the artists through royalties and ethical trade. It’s art you can wear, display, and believe in.
