Go Public Gardens and International Museum Day

Celebrate Go Public Gardens Day and International Museum Day with free admission to Newfields all day on Friday, May 31. Join us for a day of artistic inspiration and outdoor exploration in the Indianapolis Museum of Art and The Garden.  

Get creative with art making activities inspired by nature and enjoy special exhibitions including Mother / Daughter / Ancestor: Threads of Connection, People’s Choice: Favorites from the Works on Paper Collection, in addition to permanent collection galleries in the Indianapolis Muesem of Art.  

Live music performances will delight. Enjoy a beverage and recharge with a treat from the Beer Garden at Garden Terrace, nestled in the heart of The Garden. Stop by Lilly House, a National Historic Landmark, and enjoy the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse.
