Harvest presented by JPMorgan Chase at Newfields is back with a month-long celebration! At Harvest Days, guests are invited to explore the magnificently decked out garden with thousands of Indiana-grown pumpkins blanketing the campus. Enjoy a cornucopia of dynamic horticulture displays in the crisp fall air. Weekends will bring special activations from many of Newfields’ most beloved partners such as Sun King Brewing Co., Half Liter, and Smoking Goose. October at Newfields will be filled with plenty of Instagram-worthy moments, art making activities for our littlest guests, world travels via beer tastings, visits from local vendors and much more!

Beer Garden:

Live Music / 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  


Rec Lawn:

Lawn Games / Free 


Greenhouse Lot:

Makers, Shakers & Growers Market / Five vendors each weekend featuring Indianapolis artists, farmers and community organizations.

Pumpkin Decorating / 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / $5 per pumpkin. 

Mural Painting / 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / Free / Paint a 16 foot mural designed by a local artist.


The Garden:

Pumpkin Treasure Hunt / Free / Find five unique species of pumpkins by going on the pumpkin treasure hunt.

Garden Guide Tours / Saturday at 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. / Sunday at 1 p.m.

Newfields is a privately funded nonprofit organization with the mission to enrich lives through exceptional experiences with art and nature. The health and safety of our guests, staff, members and volunteers remains a top priority at Newfields. In line with the latest guidelines issued by federal, state, and local officials related to COVID-19, Newfields kindly requests your support by adhering to the following protocols to protect your health and safety.

  • We hate to hide your smile, but for the health and safety of everyone at Newfields, we require everyone, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask over their nose and mouth during their visit. If you are visiting The Garden and able to stay six (6) feet apart, you do not need to wear your mask. Parents are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks on all children over the age of two years old. 
  • If you are sick, please stay home and avoid close contact with others, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • We ask that all guests practice social distancing towards others by staying six feet apart.
  • Newfields is currently a cashless campus. Credit or debit cards are the only form of payment accepted at this time. 
  • Use everyday infection prevention measures (e.g. wash hands, cover coughs and sneezes, avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth, etc.)
  • All guests and members are required to reserve tickets online in advance allowing us to safely control the crowd size to comply with large gathering protocols, while ensuring a contactless check-in process.

If you need to exchange your tickets for any reason, there are a few options for you. 

Online Exchanges 

  • To exchange a ticket online, you must create or be logged into an existing Newfields account at checkout. 
  • You can exchange your ticket free of charge up to a week before your ticket time through this account. 
  • Within seven days of your ticket time, there is a $5 fee per ticket exchanged online. 
  • No exchanges can be made within 24 hours of your ticket date. 



Phone Exchanges

If you don't have a Newfields account, or need help accessing yours, we can assist you via phone at 317-923-1331. 

  • There is a $5 exchange fee per ticket exchanged via phone. 
  • No exchanges can be made within 24 hours of your ticket date.
