Passport to Newfields
October 8–12 / 9 am–4 pm
Studio 3
You don’t have to leave Indiana for your kids to take a trip across the continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. At this Fall Camp, children will learn about art from around the world and then recreate international projects in the studio, working with paint, paper, clay, wood, and more. They’ll be able to record their “trip” by making a passport sketchbook and collecting stamps as they travel the IMA Galleries.
Make a Good Impression
October 15–19 / 9 am–4 pm
Studio 3
This camp introduces children to the art of printmaking, inspired by works in the IMA galleries. They’ll learn a whole host of techniques—stamping, printing, rolling, and more—and work with a variety of materials, like paper, fabric, clay, and even natural materials from the Newfields campus. Among their many projects, they’ll design and create their own screen-printed t-shirt.
