Are guests required to wear masks?
For your health and safety, all guests over the age of two-years-old must practice social distancing and wear a mask over their nose and mouth while inside the Museum and other buildings as well as while enjoying outdoor spaces in The Garden at Newfields.
Will Newfields employees be wearing masks?
Yes, all Newfields staff and volunteers will be required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth.
Is there an outside entrance to Spring Blooms?
Yes, for those who prefer an entirely outdoor experience, there will be an outdoor contactless check in process. For those who would like to step inside the IMA, there will also be contactless check in inside the Welcome Center.
Are Lilly House, Greenhouse, and Beer Garden open?
The Beer Garden, Lilly House and the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse are open for Spring Blooms during regular museum hours. All spaces are operating at a reduced capacity and guests are required to practice social distancing while enjoying them. Please see other Beer Garden FAQs below.
Will you accept cash onsite?
Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted at this time.
Are masks required while eating and drinking?
Masks are required in the Beer Garden, although guests may remove their masks to eat and drink.
Can I sit at a table in the Beer Garden?
Yes, there will be a limited number of tables for guests to sit and enjoy food and beverage from the Beer Garden. Tables will be socially distant from other surrounding tables.
Can I bring my drink as I explore The Garden?
Yes, you are welcome to sip as you walk through The Garden. Just remember, for your safety and the safety of those around you masks are required inside and out at Newfields unless you are actively drinking or eating.
