Panel Discussion: Collecting Contemporary Art in Indianapolis
Are you interested in collecting art but aren’t sure where to begin? We can help. Join us for a panel discussion with Shannon Linker, vice president of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and director of Gallery 924; Tony Quintana and Maria Behringer of 10th West Gallery; and Ian Kime of Kime Contemporary. The speakers will discuss their roles in the launch of Collectors’ Night and cultivating a culture of art collecting in Indianapolis. Whether you’re a casual collector or a seasoned aficionado, there’s always something new to learn about the joys of collecting.
Collecting Contemporaries
This exhibition highlights two of the largest gifts of modern and contemporary art made to the IMA over its 135-year history, donated by longtime supporters Kay Koch, and Joan and Walter Wolf.
Collecting Contemporaries is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support for this exhibition is provided by The Alliance of Newfields.
