Learn more about the elaborate, humorous, and flamboyant creations of the Mad Hatter of Chicago, Benjamin B. Green-Field. Niloo Paydar, curator of textile and fashion arts, will guide you through Bes-Ben: The Mad Hatter of Chicago exhibition, which showcases more than 60 whimsical hats, adorned with a wide array of unusual trimmings such as fake cigarettes, plastic fruits and vegetables, bejeweled and decorative objects. 

Kelli Morgan, Weisenburger Curatorial Fellow

Serving as the Weisenburger Curatorial Fellow, Kelli Morgan specializes in American Art, particularly from underrepresented groups of Americans. Formerly a curatorial fellow at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Morgan has worked in a variety of curatorial, programming, teaching, and research positions at institutions including Wayne State, UMass-Amherst, and Birmingham Museum of Art. In this special presentation, Morgan will share her curatorial philosophy and vision for displaying and interpreting American Art.
